Years ago I did a demonstration layout at a local train show. I wanted people to see the solid middle rail and the beautiful craftsmanship and details of the Marklin HO items form the 50's and 60's. I borrowed some wide radius track and some composite buildings from my friend Chuck Lipstreau, and added it to some HO Tinplate stations and locomotives I owned at the time. I still have my RE-800 that Dr Eishenbahn restored for me, but most of these buildings have been sold because I hate to have things sitting in boxes I cannot run on a daily basis. These photos are of the test run I did of the layout before the actual show, using my pool table.
